The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced that its 12th International General Convention will be held from February 23 to 25, 2026.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Steering Committee formed after the recent unification of the association. Joint General Secretaries Gauriraj Joshi and B.R. Lama confirmed the dates through an official statement.
The Steering Committee has also formed a National Coordination Committee (NCC) Unification Facilitation Committee to support unity efforts at the national level. The committee is led by Gangadhar Gautam, with Tika Gurung as co-convenor. Narayan Kafle, Shani Oli, and Chiranjivi Khadka are members of the committee.
To further strengthen the unification process, the Steering Committee has decided to hold regional interactions and dialogues. These discussions will take place on December 19 for the Middle East and Africa, December 20 for the Asia-Pacific and Oceania regions, and December 21 for the Americas and Europe.
The meeting also decided to expand the Membership Committee from five to seven members.
