Nepal Connect is built by a distributed team working across Nepal and internationally.
The editorial core is based in Kathmandu and is responsible for content development, editing, and daily publishing. The team works closely with a wider network of contributors including researchers, academics, development specialists, writers, and visual creators.
Nepal Connect operates through two distinct but closely connected entities.
The publishing activities are managed by a professional company responsible for the portal, subscriptions, partnerships, and day to day operations.
Alongside this, the Nepal Connect Foundation exists to safeguard our social mission and long term public interest orientation. The foundation focuses on mapping and supporting credible development efforts and will enable reinvestment into Nepal down the line.
Both entities have their own governance structures, roles, and responsibilities. This separation is intentional. It protects editorial independence while allowing the organisation to operate sustainably and responsibly.
Nepal Connect is committed to transparency about how it is organised, how decisions are made, and how resources are used.
