Nepal Connect is an independent digital platform focused on Nepal’s social, economic, and grassroots development. We publish journalism, analysis, and background stories that connect people who care about Nepal with those actively shaping its future.

The initiative emerged from the global community of grassroots supporters who have long been engaged with Nepal. While Nepal is frequently covered through crisis reporting or tourism narratives, the daily work of development, innovation, and institution building often remains invisible. We aim to shine a light on precisely those stories.

The platform serves a global readership. This includes members of the Nepali diaspora, Nepal support groups, development professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, policy makers, and travelers with a deeper interest in the country. By bringing these groups into the same information space, we intend for Nepal Connect to be a connector in the Nepal development space.

Nepal Connect operates as a digital publishing initiative with a strong base in Nepal and an international outlook. Our editorial team works from Kathmandu in close collaboration with contributors and partners worldwide.
