Independent journalism does not sustain itself.
Nepal Connect is still in its early stages. The founders covered the costs of development and launch, which means the platform operates without debt. However, ongoing editorial work, technology, and coordination require steady resources before subscription income reaches maturity.
Supporters can contribute by becoming startup donors. A monthly contribution of ten euros during the first year helps cover operational costs and gives the platform the time it needs to build a stable readership.
In the long term, financial support also enables Nepal Connect to reinvest part of its results into carefully selected development initiatives through the Nepal Connect Foundation.
Supporting independent journalism means supporting informed debate, transparency, and long term thinking.
