According to the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), tourist arrivals have increased this month. For the month of November 2025, a total of 116,553 foreign tourists entered Nepal.
The country is reliant on tourism as a major industry due to its contribution of 7 to 8 per cent of its GDP. From January to November 2025, a total of 1,060,269 tourists visited Nepal. In October alone, which is considered the peak tourist season, 128,443 tourists visited the country. In comparison, 78,000 foreign tourists arrived in Nepal in September 2025, while 88,680 tourists visited in August.
