Nepal Police has announced vacancies for more than 400 technical positions across a range of departments, offering opportunities in engineering, health, and forensic sciences.

The recruitment drive includes posts at multiple levels, from Deputy Superintendent of Police and Inspector to Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Constable. Of the total openings, 280 positions are allocated for technical police constables, while 129 positions are for higher-ranking technical roles.

The vacancies cover a wide range of technical fields. In engineering, positions are open in computer, communication, civil, electrical, building and architecture, and automobile sectors. Similarly, in forensic science, opportunities are available in biology and chemistry. The health sector also features prominently, with openings for medical officers, dental officers, dietetics professionals, physiotherapy technologists, staff nurses, pharmacy assistants, and community medical assistants.

According to the notice, application deadlines vary depending on the position. For officer-level posts, including deputy superintendent, inspector, sub-inspector, and assistant sub-inspector, applications will be accepted from Chaitra 25 to Baisakh 24. For technical constable positions, the application window will run from Chaitra 26 to Baisakh 31.

This recruitment drive comes as Nepal Police looks to strengthen its technical capacity by bringing in skilled professionals across specialized sectors. The move is expected to support modern policing needs, particularly in areas such as digital systems, infrastructure, forensic investigation, and healthcare services within the force.

Interested applicants are advised to review the official vacancy notice published in Gorkhapatra for detailed eligibility criteria and application procedures.
